Pearl is my latest acquisition and completes my small band of quality mares. She is a 15.1hh, 2003 , perlino Quarter horse from Bohannon Farms in Kentucky. She is 97% foundation bred with greats like Royal King, Joe Cody, Windchester, King, Wimpy and Skipper W in her pedigree. She was broken as a 3 year old then put in foal as a 4 year old, producing a superb buckskin colt earlier this year to Feel Bows Thunder, a 100% Foundation black QH. She has been bred back the same way for 2009. He has competed very successfully in multi discipline events in World championships.
Pearl has superb conformation and a very easy-going personality. Nothing has fazed her since she arrived. The 2 photos of her in the barn above were taken minutes after she'd arrived.
Pearl foaled on the 4th April 2009, a stunning palomino colt, Squiggle. See his page.
She has been DNA tested and will only produce buckskins or palominos. Ee AA CrCr

Stacy 2009 aged 21
Stacy was born in 1988 and I have had her since she was 2 years old. She has had a very successful, albeit short, showing career at both local and national level. At her first Breed Show she was Ch. Broodmare and Ch. Premium Mare. She was equally successful at her second Breed Show and her first 2 foals were also national champions. In-between foals she has been a great riding mare but, due to a knee injury some years ago, she is no longer sound to ride. However, she is now enjoying a new career as a granny to the youngsters. Stacy is one of those mares that come along once in a lifetime, totally reliable and so affectionate. If I feel down, she's the one I go and talk to. I feel privileged to count her my friend.
